School safety is the responsibility of everyone. This includes not only
the Office of Safety and Security and School Resource Officers, but all
of our staff, students, parents, and neighbors. It is important that
all of us keep our eyes and ears open, and do what we can to keep our
schools safe. Some inconvenience is an inherent part of good security,
but if we all do our part, we can prevent potentially dangerous
situations for occurring in our schools. Security is smart thinking,
not scared thinking.
